Our Approach
As a boutique firm with full-time professionals dedicated to each project, we maximize efficiency and meticulously attend to every detail. Unlike smaller operations, we don’t rely on one person for both creative and logistics—we have specialists within each area who work alongside each event producer.
Under the guidance of our founder and creative director, all designs start in-house. Kate curates color palettes and the overall design, selects vendor teams, and fiercely protects the integrity of each and every event we do.

How We Begin
We begin with developing a budget while discussing the overall look and feel of your wedding weekend. This essential step provides a deeper understanding of the investment required to bring your dream to life. Each step that follows is taken with the intent of respecting that budget and working towards achieving the desired style of event.
We don’t use a standardized vendor list. Instead, we work to understand your needs and make recommendations for not only the best vendors, but the best vendors for you and your particular event. Each year, we travel the world to vet vendors, discover emerging talent, and refine our network to ensure we always offer the premier resources for each client. Our partners’ skills and services are heavily considered along with how they could fit on each vendor team.
VENDOR Communication
Using creative briefs, timelines, emails, and virtual calls, our team manages all vendors before, during, and even after your wedding to ensure flawless coordination and an impeccable event weekend.
Travel Planning
With exclusive hotel buyouts, premium room block management, and in-house travel teams, Kate + Co. ensures you and your guests have the peace of mind to fully enjoy every moment of your wedding weekend.
Venue MANAGEMENT
With 60% of our work in destination markets or in tents at private estates that require we build a team from the ground up, we know what’s necessary to produce an event in a multitude of locations and scenarios. We ensure skilled teams are in place and conduct in-person meetings with key staff and suppliers to ensure a smooth experience.
Guest Correspondence
From the first point of communication with your guests, we’ve got it handled. Once invitations are received, our event producers track all responses, note dietary restrictions and any personal needs (accessibility, childcare, etc.), and answer any questions along the way.
Comprehensive Setup & Strike
Once your team of talented professionals starts to take shape, we work closely with everyone to craft a flawless and stress-free process for you. We take the lead and also expect the highest standards from everyone involved. We’re also checking in on you, to be sure you’re enjoying every moment and feel taken care of.
Hospitality
We create a custom plan to care for and entertain your guests from the moment they receive their save-the-date to the moment they fly home—think transportation, the ultimate arrival gift, and curated activities for while they’re in town.
Etiquette Advice
Our team understands the ins and outs of hosting events and getting married— both of which come with typical protocols. We will guide on you all things etiquette, with the explanation of what’s traditional, but also what the modern world calls for, so you feel comfortable navigating any situation that arises.
Minute by Minute
Even the most beautifully designed event needs a perfect flow. Our team creates a detailed, color-coded timeline for vendors and sends a simplified version to your loved ones 30 days in advance.
Onsite Support
A seamless team of planners and on-site coordinators ensures you never lift a finger, allowing you to stay in the moment all weekend. This includes a dedicated wedding party concierge for both you and your partner.
